About the role
We have an excellent opportunity for a Senior Account Manager to continue to develop and grow our portfolio of Snacking and Savoury EUM customers across Germany. Based near to Frankfurt, this role is critical to drive growth within our business unit. This role will manage strategic accounts, develop long-term plans, and lead pipeline expansion to deliver Kerry’s growth objectives. The position requires strong customer engagement, project leadership, and cross-functional collaboration. This is a strategic role, working across Germany, with some occasional requirements to support other countries in Europe where needed. You will also be required to travel to customers up to 60% of your time, as well as occasional travel to our sites across Europe. What you'll be doing
• Key account management of selected strategic partners in the Snacks and Savoury EUMs (End Use Markets).
• Leverage the many sales tools and business enablers at your disposal, to fully understand our customers’ needs and thereby effectively convey the Kerry value proposition in relevant EUMs.
• Effectively promote the Kerry products collections and identify and present opportunities for profitable new developments, through deep analysis of customers’ branding and positioning on their markets.
• Effectively collaborate with internal colleagues across all departments, including applications team, to ensure appropriate resources for all projects.
• Develop a deep understanding of the categories in which Kerry operates, key manufacturers supplying them, the competitive mix and regulatory framework.
• Create and implement Key Account Plans in alignment with internal stakeholders and in partnership with the customer(s).
• Strive to be our customers’ most valued partner by putting them at the centre of everything we do, thereby ensuring excellent service and sustainable growth.
• Deliver above market growth in line with Country, Region and Group aspirations. What you can bring to the role
• Experience in the savoury and/or snacks market with taste background being ideal
• Significant experience in B2B food ingredients or FMCG across account management or sales.
• Experience in working with Global Customers, Multinational and/or Regional Customers
• Strong commercial acumen, confidence to make commercially sound decisions
• Degree in Business, Marketing or related field (Food Science is a plus but not mandatory)
• Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills with key customers.
• Pro-actively identifies and unlocks opportunities
• Ability to develop strategic account plans and deliver revenue growth.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills across global organization.
• Results-driven, proactive, and aligned with innovation and business development.
• Fluent in English and German
- additional languages are a plus.
• Willing to travel 60%+ of the time
• A full driving licence
