- In this role, you will work in a dynamic
environment to assure the safety and reliability of our electrical
equipment and power systems at Linde facilities worldwide; the position
provides technical expertise to the global teams
- Development and implementation of electrical
strategies to improve safety, reliability and costs in operating regions
- Assist LGSR, CVL, POL Network, SQM, Equipment
Specifications and other Engineering strategies related to new plant
design, construction and commissioning
- You will support regions and plants to identify root
causes, implement mitigations, and recover plant operations after major
failures
- Participate in the development and implementation
of electrical safety policies and compliance programs
- Assist in developing maintenance standards and
operating procedures for electrical equipment and systems
- Support sites and RBUs to develop and implement
strategies for improving electrical reliability and reducing costs
- Further, you will assist in identifying and developing new
predictive maintenance technologies for electrical equipment and
implementing across all RBUs
- Evaluate and optimize electrical preventive
maintenance methodologies
- Assist RBUs to solve technical issues and recover
operations safely and effectively, as well to assist in site reliability assessments and with
action item completion
- Liaison between operations and Linde Engineering
to align on electrical design / construction standards
- You will participate in updates and implementation of
Linde Gas Standard requirements (LGSR) & Critical Vendor List (CVL)
program, with emphasis on IEC requirements
- Assist regions in identifying and resolving
chronic asset failures (bad actors) as well as assist regions in
identifying and resolving long-term asset concerns (reliability threats)
- Also, you will work with the regions and functional teams to
drive resolution of high impact issues with a strong sense of urgency and
integrity
- You have a Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering is
required plus a minimum ten (10) years of experience in medium & high
voltage maintenance or engineering in an industrial manufacturing
environment
- Proven experience in maintenance, engineering and
specification of electrical equipment such as low/medium/high voltage
switchgear, transformers, motors and distribution systems
- Further, you have a proven knowledge of preventive maintenance
methodologies and predictive technologies
- And proven experience in standard software packages
and electrical networking tools such as ETAP, SKM etc. is preferred
- Further, you have a proven understanding of electrical, control and
instrumentation systems in an industrial manufacturing environment is
preferred as well as experience with interpreting electrical drawings and
documentation
- Excellent communication, team interaction and
presentation skills suit your profile
- Proven ability to work independently as well as
lead / participate on cross functional teams
- Proven experience as a self-starter who
effectively manages multiple tasks and achieves results with minimal
supervision
- You have experience with regulatory and industry standards
and codes, such as including IEC & EN standards
- Ability to travel up to 20% globally as necessary
