About the Role

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Accountant to join our finance team. This role is essential in supporting the accounting and financial operations of an international business. The ideal candidate will have solid accounting experience, a structured working style, and the ability to collaborate closely with management and cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Work closely with management to organize and support the accounting department.

• Assist with accounting and controlling activities.

• Support the preparation and execution of payment runs.

• Participate in account reconciliations and month-end closing activities.

• Serve as the point of contact for accounting and finance-related matters.

• Ensure accurate financial records and compliance with accounting standards.

• Support ongoing financial reporting and administrative accounting tasks.

Requirements

• Completed commercial apprenticeship, degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field, or an equivalent qualification.

• Several years of professional experience in accounting.

• Experience with payroll accounting is an advantage.

• Good command of English, both written and spoken.

• Familiarity with German accounting standards and business processes.

• Proficiency in common accounting procedures and financial documentation.

• Strong attention to detail with a reliable and conscientious approach.

• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

• Ability to work independently while maintaining a structured and accurate work style.

• High level of responsibility and commitment to quality.
