Assistant Store Manager – Filippa K & Oscar Jacobson, Hamburg

We are looking for an experienced and driven Assistant Store Manager to join our shared Filippa K and Oscar Jacobson store in Hamburg.

The store brings together two strong Scandinavian fashion brands, each with its own distinct identity, while sharing space, operations and team. As Assistant Store Manager, you will work closely with the Store Manager to drive sales, develop the team and ensure an inspiring and seamless customer experience across both brands.

This is a hands-on role for someone who is passionate about people, fashion and sales.

As Assistant Store Manager, you will support the Store Manager in leading the daily business and driving the commercial performance of the store. You will take an active role on the sales floor, lead by example and help create a strong sales and service culture within the team.

You will be an important link between the Store Manager and the team, taking ownership of the daily business and stepping into the Store Manager’s responsibilities when needed.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager in leading, coaching and developing the store team

• Drive sales and actively contribute to achieving the commercial targets of both brands

• Lead by example on the sales floor and deliver an exceptional customer experience

• Build strong client relationships and contribute to growing the store’s local customer community

• Take responsibility for the store and team in the Store Manager’s absence

• Ensure high visual, commercial and operational standards

• Build strong product knowledge across both Filippa K and Oscar Jacobson

• Contribute to a positive, collaborative and high-performing team culture

We are looking for someone who

• Has relevant experience from a similar role within fashion retail

• Has a strong background in apparel and a genuine understanding of fit, styling and garment quality

• Has experience leading, coaching or developing a retail team

• Is highly sales-driven, commercially minded and comfortable working towards targets and KPIs

• Is confident in clienteling and building long-term customer relationships

• Is a hands-on team player who leads by example

• Is structured, proactive and comfortable taking ownership

• Has strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Fluent in both English and German
