AL Developer Microsoft Business Central

Your responsibilities:

• As an AL Developer, you are responsible for the configuration, development and implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central solutions across all functional areas.

• You develop new customisations and modify existing extensions in line with internal business requirements.

• You analyse and resolve system issues, debug applications and carry out data conversions, migrations and upgrades.

• You prepare implementation service packs, hotfixes and technical documentation as required.

• You test the functionality developed by the team against business requirements and support quality assurance activities.

• You work closely with project managers, business analysts and software testers to understand application requirements and contribute to the functional specification of customisations.

• You provide pre-go-live and post-go-live support to end users and assist with the continuous improvement of our Microsoft Dynamics ERP environment.

You bring along:

• You have successfully completed a professional qualification or degree in software development, computer science or a comparable field and have several years of experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or Microsoft Dynamics NAV development.

• You have sound knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, the AL programming language and Visual Studio Code.

• Experience with the Business Central Web Client, extensions, data migration and system upgrades is an advantage.

• Experience with application integration, APIs and web services required.

• You are customer-oriented and able to translate business requirements into reliable, efficient and maintainable software solutions.

• Your structured and independent approach, analytical thinking and ability to work as part of an international team distinguish you.

• Good written and spoken English is essential for collaboration in our multicultural and multinational company. German language skills would be an advantage.
