Deutschland GmbH is mainly active in the fields of chemicals/plastics, infrastructure/machinery, steel, information technology and logistics.In our Risk Management Department, we would like to fill a vacancy as soon as possibleCredit Analyst (m/f/d)Full time 38,5 hrs/week, permanent employmentYour tasksAssessment of credit, market, and country risks for the business activities of Mitsui & Co. Deutschland GmbH, as well as for Mitsui offices in Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and affiliated companiesQuantitative and qualitative analysis and evaluation of the risk profiles of our business partnersAdvising and guiding business departments, including recommendations to department heads regarding decisions on credit linesLiaising with business partners and credit agencies on site to gather risk-relevant informationMonitoring overdue and overdrawn credit positions, market observation, root cause analysis, and advising on necessary measures and precautions, including reporting to managementNegotiating with debtors, insurers, lawyers, insolvency practitioners, bankruptcy trustees and courts to enforce claimsSupporting management in handling unexpected risk eventsConducting internal seminars or training sessions to promote risk management awareness within business departmentsYour qualificationsSuccessfully completed bank clerk apprenticeship or university degree in economics, finance or similar qualificationProfessional experience in B2B risk management, ideally within internationally operating companies, commercial/investment banks, or credit insurersAffinity for numbers and analytical thinking, especially in evaluating consolidated financial statements; basic knowledge of corporate and project finance as well as international macroeconomicsFamiliarity with international trade practices (e.g. Incoterms, payment terms)Excellent command of English, both written and spoken; German language skills are an advantageProficient in MS Office applicationsStrong communication skills and confident demeanorHigh level of proactivity, commitment, and sense of responsibility, combined with a structured, goal-oriented, and independent working styleEnjoy working in a diverse and international teamYour Benefits at MitsuiFlexible working hours (38.5-hour week)Remote work up to 2 days per week30 days of annual leaveAttractive training and development opportunitiesCompany pension scheme and capital-forming benefitsHoliday and Christmas bonusesMobility subsidies (e.g., public transport)Bike leasing (JobRad)Discounted fitness programs and employee perksRegular team events and company functionsContactWe look forward to your application in English.
