You will work on medium to large-scale mission-critical projects, covering all stages of design - from concept to construction supervision and handover.As a Senior Electrical Engineer - Data Centre at Arup, you will:As part of an interdisciplinary team of architects, advisors & engineers you will work alongside other experts.Lead the design of electrical systems (MV, LV, ELV) on medium to large-scale Mission Critical projects through all design stages from Concept to Construction Supervision and Hand-OverLead the preparation and review of design deliverablesLead projects and work closely with our data center clients to deliver quality work to meet their specific needsPresent technical content for review by technical and non-technical audiences. Have a good grasp over trends and standard methodologies in the industryCoordinate with other internal and external project stakeholders including other disciplines, authorities, public service providers and international clientsConnect solutions/ideas to bigger picture project and client goalsDeliver timely feedback and recognition to othersMentor and supervise junior staff and collaborate with skillful multi-disciplinary teams maximizing our experience at the local, regional, and global levelsDoes this role inspire you?We are looking for someone passionate about sustainable data centre design. We also value:University Degree in Electrical Design or equivalentUniversity Degree in Electrical Design or equivalent8 or more years of experience designing mission critical electrical systems for industrial facilities, experience with Data Centers is a plusAbility to manage project deliverables and budgets while effectively prioritizing your tasks and those of others, balance assigned work, and exceptional organization skills are requiredKnowledge in relevant German codes and Industry standardsFluent in English and ideally GermanStrong interpersonal and communication skills essential for team-based workingExperience with 3D BIM software - Revit MEPPassion for quality, sustainability, and innovationHave any questions or would like more information?
