Safety Officer

Short descriptionWe are seeking an experienced Offshore Safety Officer to join offshore vessel projects for our clients worldwide. If you are interested, read the description below.Function descriptionAs an Offshore Safety Officer, you will be responsible for promoting and maintaining a safe working environment on offshore vessels. You will oversee health, safety, and environmental (HSE) compliance, conduct inspections, monitor work permits, lead safety drills, support incident investigations, and ensure all activities follow international offshore safety standards. This role requires strong knowledge of HSE procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to remain calm and proactive during emergency situations.RequirementsTo be eligible for this role, you should possess the following qualifications and documentation:Mandatory Certifications & TrainingNEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC)OPITO BOSIET (including HUET with CA‑EBS)Valid Offshore Medical (OGUK or ENG1)H2S Awareness & Breathing Apparatus TrainingSea Survival TrainingAdditional Required CompetenciesGas Tester certificationGWO, Working at Height & Confined Space trainingFirefighting & First Aid/CPRStrong understanding of PTW (Permit‑to‑Work) systems, toolbox talks, risk assessments, and incident reportingDocumentation & ComplianceValid passport and offshore work authorizationSeafarer's Book (for vessel-based roles)Drug & alcohol clearanceExperience2-5 years of HSE experience in offshore, marine, drilling, or heavy industrial environmentsPlease, hit the "Apply" button to submit your CV if you are suitable for this job.
