The company is headquartered in Frankfurt, Germany and has about 87.000 employees in more than 100 locations worldwide.Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced ASIC Technical Project Manager (m/f/diverse) to lead the development of automotive-grade integrated circuits (ICs). This role is critical in managing cross-functional R&D teams to deliver high-quality ASICs that meet stringent automotive standards such as ISO 26262 and AEC-Q100. The ASIC Technical Project Manager (m/f/diverse) will oversee planning, execution and delivery of IC development projects, ensuring alignment with cost, schedule and quality targets.Key Responsibilities:Project Leadership & CoordinationManaging an IC R&D project team to define, plan, realize and deliver agreed work products in accordance with automotive quality and safety standardsLeading cross-functional teams including requirements engineering, architecture, design, verification, IP integration and tool supportConvening and moderating regular and milestone-based R&D project meetingsPlanning & ExecutionDeveloping detailed R&D project plans and providing inputs to the overall program managementManaging implementation of project plan contents, ensuring timely and budget-compliant executionProviding budget requirements including effort estimation, tools, licenses and hardwareIssue work orders to specialist departments and ensuring alignment with project goalsMonitoring & ReportingReporting development progress and status of the ASIC project to the Program ManagerMonitoring and controlling all R&D project processes, ensuring adherence to schedule, budget and automotive complianceProviding project team members with necessary plans, updates and technical documentationApplying quality assurance practices including lessons-learned, peer reviews and risk assessmentsChange & Risk ManagementApplying configuration and change management processes rigorouslyParticipating in Change Control Board (CCB) meetings and manage R&D-related changes according to defined processesSupporting component cost estimation and strategic decision-makingEnsuring project objectives are met in terms of budget, schedule and technical/quality targetsQualificationsAcademic degree in Electrical Engineering, Microelectronics or comparable qualifiactionLong-term experience in ASIC/IC development and technical project management, preferably in the automotive domainExperience with functional safety and FMEA processesExperience with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Confluence)Strong background in IC design methodology, analog circuit design and EDA toolsDeep expertise in high-voltage analog CMOS and BCD technologiesProven track record in automotive product development and IC designStrong understanding of automotive IC development lifecycle, including ISO 26262, APQP and PPAPFamiliarity with automotive-grade reliability and qualification standards (e.g., AEC-Q100)Knowledge of automotive mission profiles and environmental stress testingBusiness fluent German and English language skills (written and spoken)Excellent communication, leadership and organizational skillsAbility to manage distributed teams across global locationsStrong communication skills and customer focusApplications from severely handicapped people are welcome.Additional InformationNext to the interesting daily work the region around Regensburg is offering a high recreational value and quality of life.Profit from extensive benefits at the location such as different canteens and cafeterias, a continuing education and training, health management, physiotherapy and much more.We offer an attractive salary as well as the possibility of hybrid and cross-border mobile work.For an improved work-life balance we support you with various initiatives for a better compatibility of family and career such as flexible work time model, part-time option, sabbatical, etc.You can expect a highly motivated team as well as diverse topics and projects in the global environment of the automotive industry.We are promoting lifelong Learning combined with personal and professional development.You are looking for an individual working time model?
