Short descriptionWe are looking for an experienced Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD) Rig Hand to support a major pipeline project in Southern Germany. The candidate will assist in operating HK rigs (100-ton and 250-ton) for long-distance crossings, ensuring safe and efficient site operations.Function descriptionAssist the Driller in operating HK HDD Rigs (100 ton and 250 ton) for pipeline crossingsPrepare and maintain drilling equipment, tools and worksiteWork on the pipe side or rig side Handle drill pipes, reamers and other downhole tools during drilling and pullback operationsPerform rig up and rig down activities safelySupport borehole monitoring and fluid management RequirementsPrevious experience as an HDD Rig Hand or similar role on pipeline projectsFamiliarity with Maxi Rigs (100 ton and/or 250 tons) preferable but not mandatoryStrong understanding of safety procedures and willingness to work in challenging conditionsEU work permit and readiness to work in Southern GermanyGood English communication skills; German is a plusWhat we offer:Long-term project with a leading HDD contractorWeekly or Biweekly paymentsTransport to work, flights, accommodation and meals providedCompetitive salary aligned with industry standardsIf this is not the right project for you, please check our website for other positions.Related vacancies HDD Rig Hand1 January 2026 Civil & Infra We are looking for experienced HDD Rig Hands to support upcoming Horizontal Directional Drilling projects in the Netherlands.
