Proxima Fusion is seeking an Engineer to spearhead the development of electrical systems for stellarator fusion power plants. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in cross-disciplinary teams in fast-paced R&D environments. Experience with high-current power supplies AND/OR development of instrumentation equipment is a strong bonusWHAT YOU WILL DOLeading and coordinating the design, development, and implementation of complex electrical systemsCollaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams, being responsible for integration and verification of electrical systemsSupporting R&D and procurement partnerships, driven by the strategic needs of the companyTaking a key role in the growth and development of electrical engineering teamsWHO YOU AREWe are looking for high performers who love challenges and see these as learning opportunitiesIt is important not to be afraid to experiment, take risks and learn from mistakes.
