Our developments make an important contribution to safer, more efficient and more sustainable production, mobility and communicationIn the Plasma Control Technologies (PCT) division, we manufacture specialized components that are required for the precise control of plasma processes and are used in the production of memory chips or touch screens for sensors, smartphones or tablets. At the German PCT site, the expertise is mainly in the field of RF generators.What you will do:Lead end-to-end sourcing and procurement activities across all commodities, ensuring alignment with global strategies, compliance with policies, and optimal total cost of ownership (TCO).Manage and develop strategic supplier relationships, conducting regular performance and business reviews to secure supply continuity, improve quality, and drive continuous improvement.Oversee the full purchase order lifecycle and material availability, keeping stakeholders informed and proactively mitigating supply risks, including obsolescence.Drive project sourcing, BOM costing, and make-or-buy decisions in collaboration with cross-functional teams to meet price, quality, and timeline targets.Implement processes and tools that enhance efficiency (e.g., VMI, electronic data exchange), reduce lead times and costs, and strengthen vendor collaboration.Lead, mentor, and evaluate the regional procurement team using defined KPIs (OTD, cost savings, working capital), ensuring strong performance and a robust talentWhat you bring:Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is a strong advantage5+ years of experience in procurement, purchasing, materials management, or supply chain operations, including people managementProven expertise in developing commodity and procurement strategies, supported by strong analytical skills to identify cost-saving opportunities, assess risks, and resolve supply challengesSolid track record in vendor management, negotiation, and contract administration, supported by proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office for procurement and reportingExperienced in international, fast-paced business environments with the ability to meet KPI-driven goalsFluent in English, with German skills considered a strong assetWhy join us?
