We offer you the opportunity to break new ground and develop together.Conduct Risk Engineering surveys for the power sector (erection, commissioning and operation)Implementation of efficient loss prevention measures with the development of effective risk management procedures at client levelDevelop and implement HRC standards, guidelines, and Risk Engineering toolsEvaluate loss potential in accordance with HRC guidelinesDesktop reviews of external risk reports as requested by underwritersProvide reports in a timely manner in agreement with underwriters and in accordance with HRC Risk Engineering guidelinesDevelop and provide training sessions for clients, underwriters and claimsAttend client presentationsMinimum of 7 years of experience working within the power industry or experience as a power risk engineer in the insurance industryAppropriate formal engineering qualifications (MSc or PhD), preferably in mechanical or electrical engineeringProfessional membership of engineering associations would be advantageousGood knowledge of power plant operations and maintenance of turbines as well as good understanding of international engineering standardsGood knowledge or experience in renewable energy would be an additional advantageInternational experience or working with different cultures is preferredHighly motivated personality with excellent interpersonal and communication skills as well as team player and able to work independently with minimal supervisionEnglish (min. level C1), further foreign language skills desirableWe know that nobody is perfect and not all career paths are straightforward.
