Your Future Field of Action
At the Competence Centre Chemical Catalysis, research is carried out at the interface between COV research departments and university institutions, implementing the 'open innovation' approach. We develop sustainable products and processes, taking green chemistry aspects into account.

In addition to our diverse benefits, you can expect an attractive salary of € 2,100 gross/month for a full-time position.

These Tasks Await You

  • You will support research activities in the field of isocyanates, polyethers, polyurethanes and Covestro intermediates
  • We offer you the opportunity to work on exciting and promising tasks in the field of catalysis, polymer chemistry and/or organic chemistry
  • Your expertise is required for the planning and execution of chemical experiments and the analysis of reaction products
  • You will be responsible for analysing and interpreting the data obtained and writing experimental reports
  • You will gain insights into the processes of industrial research and development and work in a multidisciplinary team

  • You are enrolled in a university degree programme in chemistry, chemical engineering or a related degree programme
  • You have sound expertise in the respective field of study
  • Initial laboratory experience in the field of organic chemistry or technical chemistry is desirable
  • For your assignment at Covestro, you should have a high willingness to learn, a quick grasp of things, enjoy working in a team, be motivated and independent
