Senior Accountant

This leading technology organisation is seeking a Senior Accountant / Buchhalter/in to be based in at their offices in Freising near Munich. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for leading the finance function in Germany including all accounting and controlling activities. The Senior Accountant will support critical business decisions ensuring maximum profitability of the business. The Senior Accountant will demonstrate excellent financial analysis and technical accounting skills and will be comfortable working in a complex, fast-paced, multi-national company.

After successfully completing your Accounting or Finance degree (or qualifications), you will have gained several years relevant accounting experience gaining knowledge of German finance and accounting practices. You should have a successful track record and proven expertise in financial reporting, accounting standards and tax compliance. Experience in project-based business and a knowledge of HGB is also essential. Any exposure to US GAAP would be beneficial as would experience working with a manufacturing organisation. You need fluent English and German language skills.
