About the role:
We're looking for a Business Controller – Operations Controlling who will bring financial insight, drive, and analytical strength to our operations. In this role, you'll act as a trusted partner to our Logistics and Supply Chain teams — supporting them with clear financial analyses, actionable insights, and a focus on continuous improvement.
Job DescriptionAbout your tasks:
- Partner with Logistics and Operations teams to manage budgets, forecasts, and monthly performance reviews.
- Analyze operational costs, KPIs, and variances to identify efficiency gains and cost optimization opportunities.
- Lead financial support for logistics investment projects — from business case development to project controlling.
- Monitor and challenge operational spending to ensure alignment with strategic and budgetary goals.
- Maintain and develop the Logistics Scorecard, translating key performance data into meaningful insights.
- Contribute to working capital optimization through selective support on stock and payment term evaluations.
About you:
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in Business Controlling or as a Financial Analyst, ideally within Operations, Supply Chain, or Logistics.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data into actionable recommendations.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with Power BI, PowerQuery, and / or PowerPivot.
- A structured, proactive mindset and excellent communication skills.
- Fluency in English; German is a plus.
