About your workplace
Im R&D-Bereich der Business Unit Dishwashing arbeitest Du in der Abteilung Laboratories and Simulation. In enger Zusammenarbeit mit anderen R&D-Abteilungen entwickeln wir hier moderne, nachhaltige und leistungsstarke Geschirrspüler. Dabei kombinieren wir experimentelle Messungen mit innovativen Simulationsmethoden, um höchste Qualitätsstandards zu erfüllen.Deine Aufgaben
- Grundlagen verstehen: Du eignest dir die physikalisch-chemischen Prinzipien der Reinigung im Geschirrspüler an.
- Modelle entwickeln: Du entwickelst numerische Reinigungsmodelle und integrierst sie in unsere bestehende Simulationsumgebung.
- Validierung durchführen: Du vergleichst Simulationsergebnisse mit experimentellen Messdaten zur Modellvalidierung.
- Interdisziplinär arbeiten: Du arbeitest eng mit Fachbereichen aus verschiedenen Disziplinen zusammen.
- Fragestellungen, die dich erwarten könnten: Wie funktioniert eigentlich die Reinigung im Geschirrspüler? Kann man Reinigungsprozesse numerisch modellieren und simulieren? Wie lässt sich durch Simulationen neues Potential zur Optimierung von Hardware und Verfahren im Geschirrspüler erschließen?
Das überzeugt uns
- Studium in einem relevanten Fachgebiet: z.B. Computational Engineering Science, Optimierung und Simulation, Simulation Based Engineering, Computational Mathematics, Physikalische Ingenieurwissenschaft
- Hohe Affinität zur numerischen Modellierung und Programmierung (idealerweise C++)
- Erfahrung mit Strömungssimulation, idealerweise mit STAR-CCM+
- Grundkenntnisse in Materialwissenschaften, Strömungsmechanik, Kontaktmechanik, und Oberflächenchemie von Vorteil
- Selbstständige, strukturierte Arbeitsweise und Teamfähigkeit
- Kreativ-wissenschaftliche Denkweise und Interesse an interdisziplinären Fragestellungen
- Gute Englischkenntnisse
