The Opportunity

QVC has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Accountant to join the Corporate Finance department at Studio Park in West Chester, PA.  Reporting to the Senior Manager of Inventory Accounting, you will play a key role in managing inventory related financial operations and reporting

Where You'll Work

  • This role is hybrid and will require you to be onsite at West Chester, PA several days per month (onsite days are predetermined and standard across the company).
  • Job seekers must reside in one of the following states to be considered: PA, NJ, DE.
  • Relocation assistance is not available for this role.

Your Impact

  • Prepare inventory obsolescence analysis, reporting and required financial transactions
  • Manage monthly close process for inventory related accounts
  • Calculate and record purchase rebates
  • Support quarterly audit reviews and related requests
  • Perform monthly and quarterly SOX controls
  • Deliver ad-hoc reporting as requested by Finance leadership and cross-functional teams  
  • Provide guidance to business partners on inventory accounting matters
  • Assist in financial statement review and analysis
  • Prepare and manage assigned account reconciliations
  • Contribute to special projects and process improvements

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
  • CPA License Preferred
  • 5+ years of accounting experience, including SOX compliance
  • SAP Materials Management experience
  • Proficient in excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets)
  • Process oriented with a continuous improvement mindset
