Authentic Memory entwickelt eine dezentrale Infrastruktur, die die langfristige Sicherung und Verifizierbarkeit digitaler Inhalte ermöglicht. Unser Ziel ist es, Institutionen wie Archiven, Museen, Gedenkstätten und künftig weiteren gesellschaftlich relevanten Akteuren Werkzeuge bereitzustellen, mit denen sie die Authentizität ihrer digitalen Materialien zuverlässig nachweisen können.

Für ein sechsmonatiges Pilotprojekt bauen wir einen modularen Prototyp, der Timestamping, Integritätsnachweise, Verifikationsprozesse und klare Schnittstellen zu bestehenden Systemen umfasst. Dafür suchen wir Entwickler*innen, die diese Architektur von Beginn an mitgestalten und technische Grundlagen für einen zukünftigen offenen Standard mitentwickeln möchten.

Aufgaben

Du entwickelst zentrale Komponenten unserer Infrastruktur, darunter einen Timestamping-Service, einen Verifikationsservice sowie klar definierte API- und CLI-Schnittstellen für die Nutzung durch Archive, Museen und Gedenkstätten. Dabei arbeitest du mit Dateien und Metadaten, erzeugst und prüfst Hashes und Signaturen und integrierst bestehende kryptographische Standards zuverlässig in unsere Systemarchitektur.

Du entwirfst und implementierst Services, die modular aufgebaut sind und langfristig zu einem offenen Standard für die Sicherung und Verifizierung digitaler Inhalte beitragen sollen. Dazu gehört auch, technische Workflows zu definieren, die institutionelle Anforderungen berücksichtigen, etwa den Export von Hashes, Dateiuploads, die Anbindung bestehender Archivsysteme oder die Nutzung eurer Schnittstellen in realen Arbeitsprozessen.

Im Pilotprojekt arbeitest du am Aufbau eines vollständigen, funktionsfähigen Prototyps, inklusive eines öffentlich zugänglichen Verification Tools. Du dokumentierst technische Entscheidungen, hilfst bei der Ausarbeitung eines Integrationsleitfadens und wirkst an der Formulierung erster Standard-Elemente für zukünftige internationale Zusammenarbeit mit.

Qualifikation

Du beherrschst mindestens eine moderne Programmiersprache sicher und kannst robuste Backend- oder Infrastrukturkomponenten entwickeln. Ein routinierter Umgang mit Linux-Systemen gehört für dich selbstverständlich zum Arbeiten dazu, sowohl beim lokalen Entwickeln als auch beim Betrieb von Services.

Du hast Erfahrung im Entwerfen und Implementieren von Services, im Aufbau klarer API- oder CLI-Schnittstellen und im Umgang mit Dateien, Metadaten und strukturierten Workflows. Du kannst bestehende kryptographische Libraries und Standards korrekt integrieren und verstehst die Prinzipien hinter Hashes, Signaturen und Verifizierungsprozessen, ohne diese selbst neu entwickeln zu müssen.

Unabhängig von deiner Seniorität arbeitest du strukturiert, triffst fundierte technische Entscheidungen und hast Freude daran, gemeinsam mit uns eine modulare und zukunftsfähige Architektur zu entwickeln.
