Your Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • You support the Warehouse Supervisor and shift leaders in building and supervising the logistics team

  • You conduct daily pre-shift meetings with the logistics team

  • You are responsible for the efficient allocation of work tasks in accordance with the production, delivery, and shipment schedule

  • You ensure that the logistics teams correctly carry out booking transactions in the warehouse management software

  • You motivate your team to optimize processes and implement the principle of continuous improvement

  • You carry out on-site management, ensuring that team members comply with and maintain company rules, occupational health and safety regulations, as well as transport, customs, and ADR regulations

  • You lead the teams according to the 5S methodology

  • You manage special cases and emergencies in production and logistics operations

  • You inspect tools and equipment for usability to identify potential cost savings

  • You support the department in creating training materials and conduct corresponding employee training sessions

Your Talents and Skills:

  • You have completed vocational training in logistics and have relevant professional experience in warehouse logistics

  • You bring in-depth knowledge of operational processes including inbound/outbound logistics, storage, and transportation

  • Ideally, you have expertise in bonded warehouses as well as legal standards and regulations such as IATF16949, Environmental ISO 14001, hazardous materials, fire protection, occupational safety, and transport, as well as in logistics and quality tools such as Kanban and FMEA

  • You possess excellent leadership skills

  • You have very good German language skills, both spoken and written, and are also able to communicate in English

  • You are willing to work in a three-shift system (usually Mon–Fri, rotating backwards)
