Position Overview:
As
Senior Engineer Europe
, you are a key member of our Global Application Engineering Team, with a dedicated focus on supporting and expanding our scaffolding business across the
European region
.

In this role, you will play a pivotal part in driving technical excellence, supporting sales strategies, and ensuring the delivery of safe, economical, and innovative engineering solutions tailored to local market needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Engineering You will develop technical designs and perform structural analyses for scaffolding projects, supporting the full project lifecycle from quotation to order processing.
• Strategic Collaboration You will work closely with Regional Management, Country Managers, and Sales Managers to align engineering support with business goals and sales strategies.
• Client & Country Team Support You will engage directly with clients and local teams to provide expert guidance on complex technical solutions, ensuring high-quality service and customer satisfaction.
• Local Market Understanding You will build a strong understanding of country-specific requirements and standards, enabling you to tailor engineering solutions to local needs.
• Cross-Functional Engagement You will collaborate with Sales, Operations, and Support teams to ensure that engineering solutions are both technically sound and commercially viable.
• Technical Consulting in later stage when we have local Engineers, you will act as expert for scaffolding systems, providing mentorship, training, and guidance to local engineering teams.
• Standardization & Innovation You will collaborate with several newly established AT-PAC country organizations, which requires the ongoing development and definition of standards and processes in alignment with the corporate Engineering team, while ensuring full compliance with corporate engineering and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Proven expertise in scaffolding design and structural calculations.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Revit, and structural engineering software such as RFEM, RSTAB, or similar.
• Proven track record in developing engineering design concepts and translating to customer needs
• Ability to prioritize, organize, and work well within deadlines
• Ability to solve problems using technical proficiency, strategic thinking and strong analytical skills
• Good understanding of customers' needs and high customer orientation
• Excellent communication skills in English; German is a plus
