GARMENT TECHNICIAN (m/f/d)

WHAT WE SEEK

•  Experienced garment technician with sound knowledge of the design, fit and production process including prints, washes and treatments
• Ability to conduct fit sessions independently alongside designers for all proto, SMS, PP and bulk shipment samples
• Ownership and responsibility to ensure all products meet our high quality expectations from initial style development all the way through to bulk production and shipping
• Ability to create new development measurement charts and grade specs with confidence
• Risk assessment for fabric, washes, trims and design details at development and bulk stages
• Clear and concise communication with suppliers for all fit and technical comments
• Preferably experience working within a fast fashion or supplier organization
• A problem solver with good organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines at all costs
• A flexible and resilient self-starter with excellent communication skills and positive "can-do" attitude
• Ability to keep motivated and stay focused and cool even when the "going-gets-tough"
• High quality standard of work and personal standards – we strive for the best
• Eagerness to travel to offshore suppliers, fairs and buying trips

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• University degree or similar qualification in Garment and Apparel technology or equivalent 
• Minimum 3 years in similar role »Confident in both written and spoken English
• Solid and efficient computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel)
• Availability for overseas travel for an extended period of time for collection development

This is a full time position – no freelance options available.
