Investment Manager - Real Estate Investment | Value-add private equity firms with significant capital to deploy | Frankfurt
Stoneleaf Search is mandated by an international private equity real estate (PERE) firm to secure an Investment Manager to join its Frankfurt team. The firm operates a value-add strategy across Germany, with an active pipeline that requires strong execution capability from the start. The remit is broad across sectors, though some logistics exposure is needed.
This is a lean, entrepreneurial environment where you will work closely with senior leadership, play a central role in shaping investments, and have clear scope to take full deal ownership.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess, structure and execute value-add investment opportunities across Germany.
- Lead underwriting, due diligence and transaction execution with support from analytical and junior team members.
- Coordinate internal and external stakeholders to deliver transactions efficiently.
- Work with JV and operating partners to source, review and advance opportunities aligned with the platform's strategy.
- Monitor market activity and contribute to the ongoing development of investment priorities.
The Individual
- Solid value-add or core+ transaction experience in real estate investment, typically gained over 5-10 years.
- Recent (last 2–3 years) exposure to logistics deals.
- Experience across multiple asset classes, or a logistics specialist looking to broaden their remit.
- A creative investment mindset with good commercial judgement.
- Strong financial modelling skills and sound risk assessment.
- Comfortable working in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment and communicating with senior stakeholders and JV partners.
- Fluent in English and German.
