As a Protection Operations Analyst and Planner, you'll bring your operational and tactical background expertise to work alongside thought leaders in security assistance on projects for Combined and Joint Forces. You'll use your skills and expertise to enable the integration of protection into the planning process, develop and manage reports, and provide operational insights to senior leaders. 

Work with us to solve complex protection problems, and identify, analyze, and evaluate ongoing operations related to foreign threats to provide insights, options, and recommendations to senior decision makers as part of a combined and joint mission.

You Have:  

• 3+ years of experience leading the Joint Planning Process or Service planning process   

• 2+ years of experience working at the Division headquarters level or higher

• Experience in collecting, analyzing, and synthesizing operational data 

• Ability to rapidly develop plans, documents, and briefings for senior military and civilian leaders 

• Ability to coordinate across staff functions and command echelons

• Secret clearance

• Bachelor's degree  

• Completion of the Joint Professional Military Education (JPME) Phase I Course

Nice If You Have:  

• Experience using MAVEN  

• Master's degree in Strategic Studies, National Security, or a related field

• Graduate of an advanced military planner school, such as SAMS, SAW, SAAS, or JAWS

Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $61,900.00 to $141, annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
