Your Responsibilities And Tasks
As Consultant in
Airworthiness at Murzilli Consulting, you will be a key team member, responsible for guiding and supporting clients in achieving product certification and design verification processes.
Your Tasks Will Include
- Work closely with clients to define and develop their product's initial airworthiness and certification strategy and roadmap.
- Conduct gap analyses to identify areas requiring attention to meet certification requirements.
- Perform capabilities assessments to assess the maturity levels of the client's processes
- Prepare and execute certification plans to guide clients through the certification process.
- Navigate through initial airworthiness requirements to support our clients in their type of certification or design verification activities.
- Prepare design verification and certification plans, reports and supporting material
- Prepare compliance demonstration pathways and means of compliance for design verification and type certification projects
- Support government and authority clients with advisory support on policymaking, initial airworthiness best practices and regulatory updates for new technologies
- Perform system safety analyses to identify and mitigate potential safety risks associated with products.
- Provide recommendations and best practices to enhance product safety
- Manage design review activities virtually and on-site.
Experience And Qualification
To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and experience:
- A master's degree in engineering, aviation, or a related field
- 2-5 years of relevant experience in aviation, space or drones
- Experience in aircraft certification, initial airworthiness, policymaking or rulemaking projects
- Proven experience in client communication is a plus.
- Proven experience in start-up environments is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient language skills in English and preferably another language, such as Spanish, German, French or Italian.
