Job Description

As our new (Senior) Project Manager AY Commerce (m/f/d), you will manage several strategic and operational projects within our core business around the ABOUT YOU brand. As a project manager, you will be responsible for your own projects from A to Z.

You will play a key role in shaping the future of ABOUT YOU by addressing core business issues in the fast-paced tech and e-commerce environment. In doing so, you will develop a deep understanding of all areas of ABOUT YOU's business and quickly build a comprehensive strategic and operational skill set. Your work will span both strategic growth initiatives—such as market expansion, payment and fraud prevention development, and system integration projects—as well as optimization efforts aimed at boosting profitability through process improvements and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Understand the roles and systems of different teams to coordinate projects effectively.
• Lead strategic and operational projects across teams, ensuring they are completed on time and meet goals
• Manage go-to-market initiatives by working closely with different stakeholders to align efforts
• Conduct thorough analysis and research to support project decisions and planning
• Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure success and identify areas to improve business growth and profitability
• Communicate clearly and work well with internal teams and external partners to resolve issues and steer projects effectively

Requirements

• Above-average degree from a top university
• Several years of practical experience in strategy and business development, or project management, ideally in a leading management consultancy, optionally also in a start-up environment
• Very good analytical skills and strong numerical understanding
• Strong personality for working in a fast-paced scale-up environment
• Inner motivation to actively drive our core business forward
• Quick comprehension and structured way of working
• Proficient knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel
