On behalf of our innovative client, a leader in electric vehicle (EV) data solutions, we are seeking a sales-focused consultant to spearhead their expansion into the German market. This is a unique opportunity to shape the market entry strategy for a proven solution and establish key relationships that will drive significant commercial growth.
The Opportunity & ChallengeOur client has a strong foundation in Europe, with a trusted solution for EV data analysis and a track record of success. However, as they enter the German market, they need a sales-driven expert to build a robust distribution network from the ground up. This role is crucial for bridging the gap between a successful product and a new market.
Consultant Responsibilities- Strategy & Implementation: Develop and execute a comprehensive distribution network strategy for the German market.
- Business Development: Identify, engage, and negotiate with potential partners, including dealerships, distributors, and OEMs.
- Relationship Building: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders in the German automotive sector.
- Market Insight: Provide valuable market feedback and intelligence to inform and refine sales and marketing efforts.
- Compliance: Ensure all activities adhere to relevant industry regulations and standards.
We are seeking a highly motivated and connected professional with:
- Proven experience in leading sales growth and creating distribution networks within the German automotive industry.
- A strong understanding of digital or SaaS solutions and their implementation within a sales context.
- A robust network of contacts within the German automotive sector.
- Deep understanding of the market's structure, key players, and current trends.
- Experience in the used car or automotive financial services sector is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Fluency in both German and English.
- Experience with startups or technology companies is a significant plus. Knowledge of the EV market is highly desirable.
