Aircraft Paint Technician
Duration - 6-Month Contract

We're looking for a skilled
Aircraft Paint Technician
to support a high-precision aviation program for a 6-month assignment. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys hands-on, detail-oriented work and wants to contribute to the creation of world-class aircraft interiors and exteriors.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute all painting-related tasks within defined quality, cost, and timeline requirements.
- Paint aircraft components for both interior and exterior applications in line with
EASA Part 145 & Part 21G
standards. - Perform
high-gloss painting and polishing
on wooden surfaces. - Apply
textured coatings
on interior aircraft components. - Conduct masking, covering, sanding, touch-up and blending work on aircraft and individual components.
- Independently assess, repair, and polish painted surfaces.
- Work autonomously using construction documents, technical data sheets, and work instructions.
- Carry out and document labelling activities in accordance with
ATA11 (Placards & Markings)
. - Perform component paint stripping as required.
- Identify materials using parts catalogues, IPCs, construction documentation, CMMs, and standards.
- Accurately document all work in paper format or customer-specific software (e.g., Excel tools, Explorer-based applications, SAP).
Requirements
- Completed vocational training in a relevant trade.
- At least
3 years of experience
in painting, motivated career changers are also welcome. - Good command of English.
- MS Office knowledge is an advantage.
- SAP knowledge is an advantage.
- Eligibility for a valid background check according to
LuftSiG §7
.
