Position:

Purpose of the position: As Quantity Surveyor you will respond to the Project Control Manager and be part of the Project Control within Construction Department

Location:

Cloppenburg - Lower Saxony in north-western Germany, capital of Cloppenburg District and part of Oldenburg Münsterland.

How can you support us? Here below your responsibilities:

Prepare and review cost estimates, bills of quantities, and tender documentation for EPC or construction projects in the Oil & Gas sector.

Monitor and control project costs, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.

Prepare and update cost reports and cash flow projections, ensuring accuracy and timely submission to management and client.

Evaluate and certify contractor and subcontractor progress claims, change orders, and variation requests.

Support the procurement team in the evaluation of bids and negotiation of subcontract terms and conditions.

Administer contractual correspondence, ensuring compliance with contractual clauses and timely submission of notices and claims.

Assist in risk and opportunity assessments, identifying potential cost or schedule impacts.

Collaborate with Project Controls, Planning, and Engineering teams to ensure consistent cost and progress reporting.

Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline.

Minimum 5 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Cost Engineer in Oil & Gas, Energy, or Industrial Construction projects.

Strong understanding of project cost control principles, contract administration, and commercial management.

Proficiency in MS Excel, SAP, or equivalent cost management systems.

Fluency in English and German (spoken and written);
