The Role
Lucanet is seeking an Enterprise Account Manager to drive customer strategy, growth, and long-term partnerships across our Tax, Compliance & Reporting solutions. This role is first and foremost about owning and expanding complex enterprise accounts, working with senior finance stakeholders, and managing long-term, high-value customer relationships.
While knowledge of tax and regulatory topics (such as Pillar 2) is highly valued, the core requirement is proven enterprise account management experience, ideally within financially focused software or regulated B2B environments. You will act as the primary commercial owner for a portfolio of strategic customers, leading commercial discussions across renewals, expansions, and platform adoption, while partnering closely with internal teams to deliver value at scale.
This role is well suited to someone with a strong enterprise farming mindset, confidence operating in complex account landscapes, and the ambition to grow into a strategic or leadership-oriented role over time.
What you'll do
- Own and develop a portfolio of enterprise customers, driving retention, expansion, and long-term account value.
- Act as the primary commercial point of contact for senior stakeholders within finance, tax, and compliance functions.
- Lead enterprise-level commercial discussions, including renewals, licensing structures, pricing adjustments, and solution expansion.
- Identify and execute growth opportunities within existing accounts, including cross-sell and upsell across Lucanet's platform.
- Support customers through regulatory and platform-driven change, including adoption of tax and compliance solutions such as Pillar 2.
- Collaborate closely with Account Executives, SDR/BDR teams, Solutions, and Customer teams to ensure coordinated account strategies and smooth handovers.
- Guide customers through commercial or platform transitions, including changes to pricing models, deployment scope, or solution mix.
- Maintain accurate CRM data, track pipeline and open opportunities, and ensure transparency across the wider revenue organisation.
What you bring to the table
- Strong, demonstrable experience managing enterprise customers, ideally within financially focused, regulated, or complex B2B software environments.
- Proven ability to navigate multi-stakeholder enterprise accounts, building trusted relationships over long sales and renewal cycles.
- Experience leading commercial ownership across renewals, expansions, pricing discussions, and value-based conversations.
- Exposure to tax, compliance, or regulatory domains (e.g. Pillar 2, financial reporting) is advantageous, but not mandatory.
- High software affinity and comfort working with enterprise platforms and evolving pricing or licensing models.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with confidence engaging senior finance leaders.
- Fluent German and business-fluent English; additional European languages are a plus.
- Ambition to expand your scope over time, with potential progression into strategic account ownership or leadership responsibilities.
