As the Senior Accountant, you will hands on lead the work of the accounting team, supporting Avia's northern Germany company cluster. The cluster consists of four companies, whereof two are operational and two are "owner/management" companies (16 MEUR sales in operational companies, 60 MEUR in assets in the "owner/management" companies). The team consists of you plus three experienced part-time accountants who are based in Greven. You will report to the Group Accountant based in Sweden. You will be responsible for the accounting and legal reporting for the northern Germany company cluster. In addition to daily accounting tasks, you will also play an important part in development projects such as the implementation of a new, group-wide ERP system.

Responsible for the accounting of the northern Germany company clusterResponsible for legal reporting Managing your teamLead or be involved in projects linked to the finance departmentClose collaboration with other departments in the organizationBe the link between the Avia Pharma Group and the local accounting team.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone who has:

A bachelor's- or a master's degree in finance/accounting with at least 5 years of experience in accountingGood professional knowledge of accounting and tax rules and extensive experience with accounting systems and Excel. (The Northern Germany company cluster currently work in Sage.)Experience from leading people and someone who enjoys coaching peopleVery good German and fluent in spoken and written EnglishAn interest in lean operations and process optimization
