As a DevOps / Platform Engineer, you will take ownership of the operational backbone of our SaaS platform and drive the next stage of its evolution. You will work closely with Engineering, Security, and Product to build a secure, scalable, and automated infrastructure, supporting our transition toward a Private Cloud and an increasingly modernized, high-reliability architecture.

Infrastructure Architect: Manage and optimize our infrastructure, including Linux servers, Docker/Docker-Swarm (future transition toward Kubernetes), networking, TLS/SSL, backups, and observability.

Security Steward: Design and implement robust authentication, authorization, and API security frameworks using tools like Keycloak. Support alignment with GDPR and other data protection standards. Support secure on-prem deployments for enterprise customers and execute technical parts of policy and ISO 27001 requirements.

Monitoring Maestro: Oversee server monitoring with Prometheus, Grafana, and Wazuh, ensuring reliability, SLO awareness, alerting hygiene, capacity planning, and actionable security insights.

Deployment Engineer: Deploy software updates and maintain server infrastructure, automate operational workflows, support CI/CD processes, automate infrastructure with IaC (Terraform, Ansible, or similar), harden and secure configuration,s and streamline deployment paths for cloud and on-premise customers.

Identity and Access Practitioner: Collaborate on secure authentication and authorization based on Keycloak (OIDC) and realize IdP integrations, service-to-service authentication, and identity lifecycle automation.

Policy Advocate: Work with our team and customers to support compliance requirements (e.g., on-prem deployments, customer security checklists, basic vendor assessments) and operationalize internal policies.

Continuous Improvement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance scalability, stability, and automation while supporting the transition to a Private Cloud architecture.

What You Bring:

Education: Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related technical field.

Technical Expertise:

· Proficiency in Linux, Networking, Docker/Docker-Swarm, and infrastructure automation.

· Experience with IaC (Terraform, Ansible - any is a plus).

· Experience with Kubernetes and Helm is a strong plus.

· Experience with authentication and identity management tools like Keycloak.

· Familiarity with monitoring/observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana), SIEM (Wazuh).

· Exposure to DevSecOps tooling (e.g., Snyk, Trivy)

· Awareness and understanding of GDPR and data protection principles.

Programming Knowledge: Ability to read/understand Python code (Django familiarity a plus, not required)

Interpersonal Skills: Strong communication skills to work effectively across technical and non-technical teams. Structured, reliable, and proactive work style.

Detail-Oriented: A keen eye for detail and an analytical mindset for solving complex technical challenges.

Languages: Professional proficiency in English; German is a strong plus.
