Edgeless Systems is a German cybersecurity startup developing industry-leading software for Confidential Computing. Our technology keeps data encrypted even while it is being processed, tackling the most critical privacy challenges of cloud, SaaS, and generative-AI services. Today our solution protects the data of more than 50 million insured individuals within the e-patient record (ePA).
With Privatemode AI - the first 100 % confidential AI service - prompts are end-to-end encrypted and auditable, making it safe for public authorities and organisations with the highest data-security requirements to adopt AI at scale.
We already work with a strong partner ecosystem that includes global tech leaders such as NVIDIA, Intel, Microsoft and major consulting firms like Capgemini and Adesso. Edgeless Systems is venture‑backed, with offices in Bochum and Berlin. Our investors include the Swiss Stock Exchange and prominent deep tech funds.
Your missionWe're building serious products in AI + privacy. They work. People who get them love them. But the funnel, and growth engine need an owner.
This is not a role for coordination or agency management. It is a builder role with real ownership and responsibility and a strong focus on digital growth. You spread the word to the right audiences and convert them.
Two key aspects of the role are ownership of our websites (focus on ) and building a scalable Leadgen Machine, tailored to our product and ICPs:
- Define messaging and positioning for different ICPs
- Improve structure, copy, and most importantly conversion paths
- Make hands-on changes (Set up tracking, fix broken flows, improve sign-ups)
- Prioritize content driven growth, outreach and SEO
- Convince ICPs through truly innovative content (think: webinars, targeted outreach, partnerships, podcast advertising that shine)
- Work directly with founders, sales, and product
- Handle PR and events only when it makes sense
- Continuously refine ICPs based on your own data and sales feedback
- Prior success in hands-on growth and/or product marketing role for B2B deep tech
- Understand tech (AI, developer tools or privacy) well enough to talk to engineers
- Entrepreneurial mindset; ideally experience as a founder or early employee
- Execution focussed, ambitious, technically curious
- No emotional attachment to corporate marketing environments
- German at C2 level or native
- Fluent English

- A founder whose startup didn't work out (or got acquired)
- A Founder's Associate / CoS who always gravitated toward growth
- Someone who built and grew something real on the side (open source project, newsletter, community, SaaS)
- You get to build marketing from scratch
- Direct collaboration with founders and leadership with high visibility
- This role has clear internal priority - we are willing to invest once we see a signal
- Work on meaningful, privacy-first AI products
