Every day our systems are busy processing millions of news and tender articles per week, leveraging AI to categorise and extract critical project information at speed so that our customers win projects before their competitors even hear about them. With our product, users discover new projects, qualify and enrich leads, and follow a process to proactively create business opportunities and achieve their revenue goals.

Your role

As a Data Working Student at Building Radar, you will support our engineers in shaping the future of digital sales in the construction industry. You will work closely with data, frontend, backend engineers, UX/UI designers, and product managers to deliver value to our customers through the development of our web application.

• Support the development of our data initiatives

• Conceptualize & implement new features to deliver value and improve user experience

• Contribute your ideas to drive product innovation

• Gain experience in agile software engineering projects, data engineering, and systems design

Your profile

• Currently pursuing higher education and enrolled in a German university - preferred field(s) of study: Computer Science, Information Systems, or related fields

• Solid knowledge in Python

• Knowledge in some of the following technologies:

  • Storage: Postgres, Elasticsearch, MongoDB, Redis, Kafka

  • Frameworks: FastAPI, pydantic, SQLAlchemy

  • Services: Azure Cloud, Azure DevOps

  • Platform: Kubernetes, Docker

  • APIs: REST/HTTP, GraphQL

  • GenAI: embeddings, vector DBs, MLOps

• Curiousity and motivation to develop yourself both technically and personally

• English working proficiency with good communication skills, especially in writing to support our remote and async practices

• Get things done attitude, solution focused mindset, agile mentality
