Working Student in Underwriting Integrity

We are looking for a Working Student in Underwriting Integrity & Solution EMEA (m/f/d), based in Munich.

Your Team
The Underwriting Integrity & Solution team is committed to shaping and maintaining a holistic, efficient, and effective Underwriting Governance Framework that spans all Lines of Business (LoBs) and drives Cross-Line Business activities.

The Impact You Will Have
You will support our team, and work in an international environment. Together with our experts, you will have the opportunity to get an end-to-end insight into various Lines of Business of a globally leading primary insurer, from underwriting specific topics from a governance perspective to project work on a global level. Some Of Your Specific Responsibilities Could Include

• Assume an active role in global underwriting-related strategic projects that span multiple Lines of Business
• Support the team in ensuring that solid governance processes are in place for Allianz Commercial and rolled out to all LoBs in close collaboration with the respective LoBs
• Support the team in driving continuous improvement of underwriting governance processes and ensure adherence to those processes (e.g., business reviews, authority framework)
• Support the team with various operational tasks (e.g., planning, coordination, preparation of materials, etc) as required.

What You'll Bring To The Role

• Currently studying Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Law, or any other related field.
• Previous project-related working experience in the (re-)insurance industry would be a plus.
• High accuracy, reliability, pro-activeness, and working independently.
• Good communication skills and ability to work efficiently in a professional, international working environment.
• A basic understanding of artificial intelligence (AI) and its potential applications in business is essential.
• Business fluent in English (reading and writing). German would be a plus but is not mandatory.

• Start as soon as possible, duration minimum of 6 months.
• Working hours: 20 hours/week
• Enrollment at university is a requirement for the duration of the employment.
