The Position
As a People Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the people in our German entity in the Berlin office and take full ownership of People Operations in various areas.

Your Key Responsibilities
:

  • Own people operations processes along the employee lifecycle in our German entity:
    ensure compliance with employment law and regulations, process the monthly payroll, manage all kind of contractual matters, administer benefits, and support visa cases
  • Ensure smooth and accurate data management across our systems
  • Respond to daily employee requests
  • Serve as the first point of contact for external stakeholders: health insurance providers, government authorities and social security agencies
  • Continuously improve existing processes to enhance the employee experience, contributing directly to both employee satisfaction and Hive's overall growth

Your Profile

  • You have 2+ years of experience in People Operations in Germany, including processing payroll
  • You have native German and good English skills
  • You have expertise in the relevant legal requirements (social insurance law, tax law, labor law, visa cases) and continuously expand your knowledge
  • You have a passion for structure and can challenge and improve existing processes
  • You have a positive attitude, solution-oriented and work in a people-oriented manner
