Head of Energy Markets (all genders)
Your future tasks:

• Lead and execute Skyborn's global energy market strategy across the portfolio, ensuring alignment with commercial, development, and investment objectives
• Lead and close high-value power purchase agreement (PPA) and offtake contract negotiations, driving monetisation opportunities across multiple markets
• Provide strategic leadership and expert advice on energy pricing, regulatory developments, grid access, and power market risks to senior management
• Oversee the identification, evaluation, and prioritisation of energy market opportunities for new and existing projects across key regions
• Manage, develop, and inspire a high-performing team of energy market originators, analysts, and subject matter experts
• Collaborate closely with Development, Investment, Asset Management, and Policy teams to design robust offtake strategies and revenue models tailored to local market conditions
• Represent Skyborn in external engagements with offtakers, clients, regulators, TSOs, advisors, energy agencies, and industry associations
• Drive internal knowledge sharing, governance inputs, and cross-functional initiatives related to energy markets, regulation, and risk mitigation.

Your profile:

• University degree in Economics, Energy Markets, Engineering, Policy, or a related field, with at least 10 years of professional experience in energy markets, ideally within offshore wind or the renewable energy sector.
• Strong track record in power market analysis, PPA structures and negotiations, revenue modelling, and regulatory frameworks across multiple markets.
• Proven leadership experience managing and developing high-performing teams in complex, fast-paced, and international environments.
• Solid understanding of electricity markets, grid access, energy policy, and regulatory risk, with experience engaging senior stakeholders such as offtakers, regulators, TSOs/ISOs, and public authorities.
• Strategic, commercially driven mindset with strong analytical capabilities and the ability to contribute to investment cases and governance decisions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, fluent in English, with willingness to travel internationally; additional languages are an advantage.
