Chemist or chemical engineer

Company Description
We are looking for a dedicated chemical engineer or chemist (f/m/d) for our Product Competence department. In this role, you will act as the "first customer" for our innovative testing devices, be involved in the development process for new devices, and serve as the point of contact for our customers when they have questions about the application.

Job Description

• You will conduct application tests with our devices in the laboratory and prepare the necessary samples (especially mineral oil and cosmetic products).
• You will create application reports, test reports, documentation, and statistics in German and English.
• You will support our international sales team with questions regarding the application of our devices and develop new areas of application and possible uses in consultation with product management.
• You will plan and carry out the validation of our newly developed devices in cooperation with development and product management and create the corresponding statistical evaluations and test reports.
• You will conduct product training and consulting (in some cases also on site at our international customers' premises).
• You will participate in national and international standards committees and take part in interlaboratory tests.

Qualifications

• You have successfully completed a degree in chemistry or chemical engineering (master's/diploma) and ideally have several years of relevant professional experience.
• You work analytically, in a structured and independent manner, have a high level of quality awareness, and are a strong team player.
• You have good MS Office skills, especially MS Excel.
• You are fluent in spoken and written German and English.
