We are currently hiring a forward-thinking and results-oriented Senior Product Specialist (f/m/d) Multi Asset.

As a Product Specialist Multi Asset, you will be part of the global Multi Asset group which manages more than €100 billion in assets and comprises around 81 investment professionals. You will report to the Head of Product Specialists Multi Asset, and you will work closely with the Product Specialists team and the Investment team members to serve as an advocate for AllianzGI's successful Fund-of-Fund franchise in Germany.

Besides providing in-depth product information, the role also includes the requirement to present in both German and English to internal and external audiences in business meetings or at larger conferences.

The position is based in Frankfurt.

What you will do

• Build expert knowledge of products, investment process, philosophy and AllianzGI's investment style and communicate this primarily to European Sales teams and Distribution partners
• Originate product information that meet typical requirements of retail investors with focus on the investment process, performance explanation, portfolio holdings and illustration of the investment case
• Act as the external voice of the Investment team and be the interface between investment professionals and sales and marketing professionals
• Substitute fund managers at marketing events, as well as at client and consultant meetings
• Own and lead the external and internal communication of investment related content for marketing purposes
• Actively write and articulate portfolio relevant commentaries to support the product presentations of sales and marketing colleagues
• Deliver required portfolio- and investment strategy-related content to the RFP team and client service entities
• Contribute to the further strengthening of Multi Asset's distinct sustainability value proposition and related product offerings and solutions
• Act as an effective business partner to support the business development activities of sales and marketing in a focused and appropriate manner
• Provide training to educate the sales force in the required technical details to present the investment strategy to clients
• Supervise and articulate investment process refinements
• Keep abreast of the strategy's performance in context of relevant competitor products and be able to explain performance scenarios relative to the market environment and peers
• Participate in product development initiatives of AllianzGI product solutions concerning the strategies under coverage

What you bring

• Academic degree in Economics, Finance or similar field of study
• Ideally minimum 10 years of relevant professional experience in a product specialist role, portfolio management, retail or institutional sales, business management or high-end product management role preferred
• Experience with Multi Asset- and fund-of-fund-related topics is advantageous
• Excellent communication skills, ability to tailor a message for a diverse range of audiences and to clearly articulate investment content
• CFA, CEFA or CIIA qualified or similar qualifications preferred
• Experience in working in a large financial institution and strong networking ability
• Entrepreneurial and organized personality with the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
• Proactive with internal and external clients and responsive to their needs
• IT literate, experienced user of ppt, doc, xls and ideally of VBA
• Experience with SQL, Microsoft CoPilot desired
• Strong written and verbal command of German and English
