Role Description

The Supply Chain – Logistics Coordinator ensures the smooth and efficient movement of goods, materials, and information across the supply chain. This role involves coordinating shipments, managing inventory, and collaborating with internal teams, suppliers, and logistics partners to meet operational and customer requirements. The Coordinator plays a critical role in optimizing processes, monitoring performance, and ensuring timely and accurate delivery while maintaining cost efficiency. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and proactive, with strong problem-solving and communication skills. This position provides practical experience in logistics, supply chain operations, and process improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate daily logistics activities, including inbound and outbound shipments, transportation scheduling, and warehouse operations.
  • Track and monitor shipments to ensure timely delivery, resolving delays and discrepancies promptly.
  • Collaborate with suppliers, freight forwarders, and internal teams to optimize logistics performance and maintain smooth operations.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory, shipments, and logistics activities in ERP or logistics management systems.
  • Support procurement and planning teams by ensuring material availability and timely replenishment.
  • Assist with import/export documentation and compliance with customs regulations and trade requirements.
  • Analyze logistics data to identify inefficiencies, cost-saving opportunities, and areas for process improvement.
  • Prepare regular logistics performance reports and KPIs for management review.
  • Coordinate with warehouse teams to manage stock levels, storage, and movement of materials.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards in all logistics activities.
  • Support process improvement initiatives, including digitalization and workflow optimization.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates, resolve issues, and maintain high service levels.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in logistics coordination, supply chain management, or operations support.
  • Understanding of logistics processes, inventory management, and transportation management systems (TMS).
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration across teams and with external partners.
  • Knowledge of international shipping, customs regulations, and Incoterms is a plus.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Familiarity with process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma) is advantageous.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken; additional languages are a plus.
