Tasks:

  • Creation of software sub-architectures and derivation of software requirements
  • Maintenance of software sub-architectures
  • Evaluation and refinement of functional and non-functional requirements relating to the area of responsibility
  • Monitoring and ensuring architecture implementation for the area of responsibility
  • Contact person and interface to project and product management
  • Analysis of customer requirements and interfaces for the segment (specifications)
  • Connection of external systems
  • Implementation of software components
  • Creation of process documentation (e.g., software architecture design)
  • Embedding of commercially available software components
  • Performance of topic-specific analyses (e.g., vulnerability and performance analyses)
  • Initiation and technical evaluation of make-or-buy decisions regarding software components

Requirements:

Must-have:

  • Completed master's degree in computer science
  • Very good written and spoken English and German skills
  • Several years of professional experience in creating software architectures
  • Several years of experience working on large software projects
  • Deriving and refining software requirements at the functional and non-functional level
  • Monitoring and ensuring architecture implementation
  • Communication between project/product management and the development teams
  • Performing topic-specific analyses, such as performance and vulnerability analyses
    Nice-to-have:
  • Experience in designing architectures for embedded systems
  • Experience in designing architectures for distributed systems
    Tools:
  • Experience with UML modeling tools such as Enterprise Architect, IBM Rhapsody, etc.
  • Confidence in using GIT and LemonTree is desirable
