Our client who are a global engineering consultancy are hiring a
Construction Supervisor
on a
contract basis for a minimum of 14 months.
This
Construction Supervisor will be
for a major pharmaceutical construction project in Frankfurt looking after M&E equipment on site. You'll play a key role overseeing installation and commissioning on a complex, high-spec site.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and coordinate all electrical activities on pharmaceutical construction sites.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, contractors, and clients to resolve electrical-related challenges.
  • Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of systems such as power distribution, lighting, grounding, and controls.
  • Ensure all work complies with relevant electrical codes, safety standards, and project requirements.
  • Interpret and review electrical drawings, schematics, and technical documentation.
  • Monitor daily site progress, uphold quality standards, and enforce safety procedures.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits, ensuring timely resolution of issues.
  • Supervise, train, and support electrical teams and subcontractors on site.
  • Assist with the procurement and tracking of electrical equipment and materials.
  • Prepare detailed reports on site progress, incidents, and activities for senior stakeholders.
  • Support commissioning processes and ensure successful project handover and operational readiness.

Requirements:

  • Fluent in both German and English
    , with strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Right to work in Germany - either residency or EU passport holder.
  • Ideally holds a Degree or Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, with proven experience on engineering or pharmaceutical construction projects.
  • Experience working as a supervisor working on ideally pharmaceutical
    or regulated process manufacturing construction projects.
  • Deep understanding of electrical codes and standards, including NEC and IEC.
  • Familiar with local electrical and mechanical and building regulations, including code compliance and project specification implementation.
  • Strong technical knowledge of electrical system design, installation, and testing.
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management capabilities.
