Overview

This position is part of the
Solution Transition Department
, which ensures the smooth transition of IT solutions from the design phase to operational use.

The role involves coordinating and overseeing the testing, validation, and quality assurance of new or modified IT systems before they enter production.

The focus is on ensuring operational stability, service quality, and readiness for deployment across complex enterprise environments.

Responsibilities

The Senior IT Expert in Test Management performs a wide range of activities, including:

• Acting as a
  Solution Tester
  within multiple projects simultaneously.
• Reviewing technical and functional specifications to ensure
  testability, completeness, and consistency
  .
• Designing and developing
  test cases
  based on business and technical requirements.
• Executing
  manual and automated test cases
  and documenting results.
• Using
  test management tools
  such as JIRA, ALM/Quality Center, UFT, and SBM for planning and tracking.
• Analyzing and documenting
  defects
  , conducting
  re-tests
  , and ensuring timely resolution.
• Preparing and maintaining
  test reports and documentation
  .
• Estimating
  resource and time requirements
  for testing activities.
• Collaborating closely with functional and technical experts to clarify detailed requirements.
• Identifying, selecting, and generating required
  test data
  .
• Monitoring
  test process steps
  and ensuring adherence to standards and methodologies.

Qualifications

Education & Certifications

• University degree in
  Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, or related technical fields
  ,
• or an equivalent professional IT qualification with several years of relevant experience.
• ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level
  and
  ISTQB Advanced Level Test Analyst
  certification (or equivalent proof of competence).
• Proven proficiency in
  MS Office applications (Visio, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  and
  test management tools
  such as JIRA and HP ALM.

Languages

• German:
  C2 (native or near-native level)
• English:
  B1 or higher (CEFR standard)

Experience Requirements

• At least
  5 years of professional experience
  in IT or software projects.
• Minimum
  3 years of experience as a Tester or Test Analyst
  in a software environment following ISTQB standards.
• Demonstrated expertise in
  test planning, test execution, and defect management
  within complex enterprise systems.
• Familiarity with
  deployment and release management
  processes in large-scale IT landscapes.
