At our headquarter in Dortmund, we have a full-time vacancy for an Applications for Sales Engineer for nanofabrication and characterization systems.
Your mission- Deliver high-quality product demonstrations.
- Execute application projects and advise customers with technical understanding of the tools and their performance capacity, acting as technological interface to the customer.
- Translate customer requests and needs into applications solutions.
- Continuously improve applications performance.
- Nurture positive customer relationships and act as highest-level customer interface for specific equipment & applications request.
- Collaborate with product management, R&D, other Applications departments to provide feedback on system performance and potential improvements / future developments.
- Root cause analysis & minor tool maintenance work.
Key results:
- Successful product & application demonstrations in the form of sample work projects and in-house demonstrations.
- Successful execution of applicational challenges to show Raith's technological and applicative advantages to customers.
- Provide internal feedback of tool performances and customer needs helping Raith to continuously improve its products.
- Collaborative attitude to meet customer needs and nurture a positive relationship.
- PhD or Master's degree with preferably 3 years relevant work experience in physics, materials science, electrical engineering, or a related field.
- Knowledge and extensive hands-on experience with EBL tools are required.
- Proven track record to work well with cross-functional teams.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills tailored for a wide variety of audiences are critical for this position.
- Outstanding customer interfacing skills are an absolute necessity.
- Knowledge of advanced technology progression in the field of nanofabrication would be a plus.
- Self-motivation & -management, results-driven attitude and outstanding problem-solving skills.
- Fluent in English, good German language skills.
