Lead Product Designer

The Role

In this role, you'll report directly to our Director of Product and play a key role in shaping the UI/UX direction of our platform. You'll lead and mentor 2 UI/UX designers, while also actively contributing to design execution, especially in areas that leverage AI to reduce iteration cycles, speed up prototyping, and explore new frontiers in user experience. What You'll Do

• Lead the strategic integration and application of AI tools to accelerate and enhance our design process
• Drive design innovation by continually exploring and advocating for new AI-powered methodologies to push the boundaries of what's possible
• Oversee rapid prototyping and iteration, leveraging AI tools to generate and test high-fidelity, functional, code-based prototypes.
• Capture insights from user interviews, usability tests, and other forms of user research to make data-informed design decisions.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product, engineering, and business teams, effectively communicating design vision and rationale.
• Help grow and scale our design system, ensuring consistency and excellence across platforms.
• Contribute to the UI/UX work as needed while also supporting and guiding the Design team, this is a hands-on leadership role
• Advocate for UI/UX excellence at every stage of the product lifecycle, balancing speed, quality and experimentation
• Foster a high-performance culture of learning and development within the design team.

What you'll bring

• At least 5 years of experience leading UI/UX efforts across cross-functional teams, partnering closely with Product, Engineering, and other stakeholders to drive outcomes.
• A forward-thinking mindset with a passion for AI-assisted design and emerging technologies.
• Mastery of modern design tools, with a strong portfolio of high-quality UX/UI work.
• Strategic thinking combined with attention to detail - systems-oriented yet uncompromising on execution quality.
• A hands-on mindset with the ability to contribute directly to product design and prototyping.
• User-first mindset and a strong track record of turning complex workflows into clear, intuitive UI/UX solutions
• Exceptional communication skills, using storytelling to clarify complex problems and inspire teams
