Senior Project Manager

Job description Purpose of the position

Project One is creating new ways of working within the whole Intersnack group by harmonising business processes, which are supported by a common IT solution stack. Currently, a team consisting of more than 20 nationalities and 100+ colleagues is working in the programme to achieve this goal.

The holder of this position will lead a significant part of the ONE template implementation – the template itself consisting of standard ways of working supported by one common Infor-Based IT platform in a set of countries grouped together in an implementation wave.

You will align activities and work plans across multiple teams and drive the delivery of projects according to the pre-defined timings set by the overall programme plan.

Responsibilities

1. Implement projects according to the Intersnack project management methodology including milestone sign-off within scope, time and budget as the leading Project Manager.

2. Develop the project plan from scratch, including risk management, resource allocation, and task prioritization. Ensure completion of all functional and project management deliverables assigned to internal or external consulting resources.

3. Act as the primary point of contact between the Steering Committee and project teams, ensuring clear and effective communication.

4. Monitor and report progress and manage resolution of implementation issues.

5. Ensure alignment with other projects / initiatives on a local scale with an impact on own delivery.

6. Coordinate collaboration between the central delivery team and the local implementation team.

Job requirements Experience 

• 8-10 years work experience in (IT) project management or consulting.

• Proven experience as a Senior Project Manager or in a similar role, with a focus on the introduction of large-scale IT/ERP systems within an organization (ideally Infor).

• min. 5 years work experience in leading implementations of Infor or similar ERP platforms (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Infor) as a senior project manager or consultant. Experience in manufacturing, sales, or supply chain management systems is also possible.

• Proven experience in managing implementation or deployment of complex IT templates within an organization.

• Experience in facilitating teams working in multiple locations and in parallel project phases.

• Experience in managing a project team or a sub-project team.

• Leadership of internal and external teams without direct reporting lines.

• FMCG and/or Infor experience is a plus.

Education

• University degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Business Administration, or similar qualification (e. g. corresponding military education)

Qualifications (certificates)

• Project Management certifications (e.g. PMI, PRINCE2) would be a plus

• Lean/Six Sigma skills desirable

Willing to travel – expected level of travel of this position is approx. 4 days / week.
