We are hiring a
Doctoral Student or Research Associate (m/f/d) in the field of Data Science
(E 13 TV-H, full-time, fixed-term, 3 years with option for extension). The position is part of the
externally funded project "PVRI GoDeep Meta Registry
," the world's largest collection of real-world data from patients with pulmonary hypertension.
Your tasks
- Shape the data infrastructure of the PVRI GoDeep Pulmonary Hypertension Meta Registry
- Enable international medical experts to gain new insights into an incurable disease
- Apply your data science skills to link and integrate patient data across countries and continents
- Collaborate in a small, interdisciplinary team of data scientists, software engineers, and medical experts
Your profile
- Master's degree (or equivalent) in Informatics, Mathematics, Data Science, or related field (medical background not required)
- Experience with one or more scripting languages (R, Python, JavaScript)
- Interest in applying machine learning methods to real-world patient data
- Strong written and spoken English skills (additional languages welcome)
- Motivation to work in an international research environment with top experts
