Job Summary:

A welcoming family of football enthusiasts in Meerbusch is seeking a dedicated and experienced Housekeeper/Cook to join their household. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized home, preparing meals that meet a good standard of family cooking, and assisting with two young children. This position is full-time and offers an opportunity to become a valued member of a busy family.

Key Responsibilities

Housekeeping

• Perform general cleaning tasks, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitising kitchen and bathroom areas.
• Organise and maintain household supplies and inventory.
• Manage laundry and ironing duties for the family.

Cooking:

• Plan and prepare nutritious meals for the family, ensuring high standards of family cooking that cater to diverse tastes and dietary preferences.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, ensuring proper food storage and hygiene practices.

Childcare Assistance:

• Supervise and engage with the two young children, ensuring their safety and well-being.
• Assist with daily routines, including meals, homework, and playtime.
• Provide age-appropriate activities and educational support.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a housekeeper and cook in a private household.
• Experience caring for young children, with the ability to engage and support their development.
• Strong cooking skills with a good standard of family cooking, including knowledge of healthy meal preparation.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Good communication skills and a friendly demeanor.
• Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation within a 45-minute commute to Meerbusch.
