Global SC&L Project Manager

As a Project Manager (m/f/d) Supply Chain & Logistics, you will lead global and regional projects, driving the continuous development of our organization. You will optimize processes, enhance the performance of the supply chain, and make a significant contribution to customer satisfaction. In this role, you will ensure compliance with international project standards, represent the cluster in global initiatives, and collaborate closely with internal interfaces.
Main Tasks
• Lead global and regional projects aimed at optimizing inventory levels, supply chain costs, and quality
• Planning, excecution and wrap-up of projects including ressource management, risk-analysis and -management and quality assurance
• Manage and coordinate projects across planning, distribution center operations, transportation, and other supply chain processes
• Implement and ensure compliance with MANN+HUMMEL project management standards within the SC&L cluster
• Hold global responsibility for all SC&L projects to ensure adherence to MANN+HUMMEL and OPS project management guidelines
• Ensure that project timelines, budgets, and quality targets are met
• Guarantee standardized project documentation within the cluster
• Act as a central interface to clusters, business units, and other corporate functions (e.g., Finance, IT, Procurement)
• Build and lead a global SC&L project management community and conduct regular project reviews

Your Profile- Education: Successfully completed university degree with a focus on project management, logistics, engineering, or a comparable field
- Professional Experience: At least 5 years of experience in a project-related environment, ideally with a connection to supply chain topics
- Expertise:
- Experience in leading and implementing cross-functional projects within the supply chain environment, particularly in the areas of distribution, material flow planning, inventory management, and transport networks
- Solid knowledge of project management
- Experience working with Power BI
- Confident use of MS Office and Power BI; SAP knowledge is an advantage
- Language: Excellent English skills, both written and spoken, German skills are an advantage
- Personality
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- High intercultural competence and experience working with international teams
- Confident communication skills – from shop floor to top management
- Team-oriented, reliable, and assertive
- Structured and solution-oriented, even in complex project situations
- Proactive working style and enthusiasm for driving change
- Willingness to travel internationally (30–50%)
