What to Expect

Tesla is seeking a highly motivated and analytical individual to join our Quality Control team as a Quality FLUX operations Intern in the construction field. The successful candidate will work directly with the QA/QC Manager, providing support in resolution of various quality issues in operational shops. This is an exciting opportunity for a student studying Civil/Mechanical Engineering or a related field to gain hands-on experience and exposure to the construction industry

What You'll Do

  • Develop a solid understanding of quality control processes and procedures. Analyze and evaluate historical data to identify trends and areas for improvement
  • Foster relationships with contractors and suppliers, ensuring effective communication channels. Review, analyze, and clarify technical specifications and requirements with suppliers in close collaboration with Tesla internal engineers.
  • Identify and resolve quality issues and deviations through root cause analysis and corrective actions
  • Manage and resolve FLUX Hunter tickets related to issues assigned to Quality, taking full ownership of follow-ups and resolutions for both CSA and MEP domains.
  • Determine the appropriate resolution path for tickets, routing them through brownfield projects or warranty processes as needed to achieve efficient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with internal engineers to identify technical solutions and oversee their implementation, ensuring alignment with project timelines and quality standards.
  • Assist in procuring offers from vendors and contractors, including chasing and managing demobilized contractors to address warranty-related cases.
  • Monitor ticket progress, provide regular updates to stakeholders, and ensure all resolutions comply with Tesla's operational guidelines and associated local and national standards.

What You'll Bring

  • Fluency in English, Basic German language skills preferred
  • Currently enrolled in a relevant field such as Civil/Mechanical Engineering or Quality Control
  • Capable of working in a fast-paced and always changing environment
